to the monastery at Whithorn has been restored to a very high standard, and is full of authentic period touches and furnishings appropriate to the 16th-century building.

NB The Pend has some doorways below standard height and 17th-century windows that open directly on to the street below the master bedroom; it may not, therefore, be suitable for young children.
